Our History
1970
Began the journey at age 20, as an apprentice at a sports footwear company in Seoul’s Dongdaemun district, crafting various sports shoes like soccer, baseball, and track shoes. Interest in skates developed when ice skating athletes started visiting us for skate repairs.
1983
Embarked on a journey of skate research, dismantling discarded skates and studying them independently. The skates he crafted were worn by athlete Kim Dong-sung, who won a gold medal at the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics.
2010s
Our skates have been worn by Olympic champions like Ahn Hyun-soo, Lee Jung-su and Lee Seung-hoon. At the 2014 Sochi Olympics, over half the short track medalists used his skates, which are now trusted by athletes in over 20 countries.
Present
Today, the artisan’s skates are trusted by top athletes in over 20 countries, with a history of excellence marked by their use by Olympic champions and the majority of short track medalists at the 2014 Sochi Olympics.
